Statement:
We live In the richest country in the world. There's no reason why kids are hungry, homeless. without health care, while the taxes that we provide for people's needs are instead used to murder innocent women and children in Palestine. I have no words to convey the utter outrage that I feel seeing my money misused to bomb, starve, burn children, bulldoze their houses, hospitals, schools and carry out an illegal occupation and genocide. How can anyone turn away from this horrific slaughter paid for with our tax dollars? I am running on a platform of people, planet and peace: defend our democratic rights, provide food, shelter, health care and a safe, clean environment for all, defend women's rights, enact reparations for slavery, protect Oak Flat and stop Copper World, oppose nuclear war, tax the rich, cut the military budget and close down the 800+ military bases worldwide, oppose apartheid Israel who does not share our values and starves millions of people to death, enact the real Green New Deal, bring System Change rather than Climate Change. We must end the genocide in Gaza by cutting off all funding to Israel immediately. Free Palestine!
